
18th October 2021, Dubai, UAE: Global bunker trading firm, Glander International Bunkering, has been announced as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award finalist in the upcoming 8th Annual The Maritime Standard Awards.
To be shortlisted in the CSR category, companies must demonstrate a strong commitment to employee and community welfare, creativity, and innovation in the use of their CSR initiatives.
CEO Carsten Ladekjær commented: « CSR continues to be a core value for our organization, especially in a world that needs more support than ever before. The events of the pandemic prompted us to deepen our efforts, establish new initiatives, and partner with more local and global organizations. »

A top-class panel of judges have reviewed and ranked nominations for a total of 20 different categories, the winners of which will be announced on November 22. More than 800 senior executives from the maritime and shipping sectors are expected to attend, along with influential figures from governmental agencies and international industry bodies.
The Editor of The Maritime Standard, Clive Woodbridge, added: « We were overwhelmed this year by the volume of entries, with some categories attracting a record number of nominees. The quality was also exceptionally high, and those who are finalists for each category of the Awards can be justifiably proud of their achievement. »
